Mentorship Programme

Greetings from the Society for AIDS in Africa.

We are writing to inform you of an exciting opportunity to join the mentorship programme, which is currently open to members who wish to submit their abstracts and would like to receive support from a mentor.

The mentorship programme connects early-career professionals, students, and researchers with experienced mentors, who will provide guidance on developing, refining, and submitting abstracts for ICASA 2025.

By participating, mentees will gain valuable insights into research methods, academic writing, and the art of presenting complex ideas clearly and effectively. Please note that only paid SAA members are eligible for mentorship, and as such, you are eligible to participate in this programme. However, please be aware that being an abstract mentee does not guarantee that your abstract will be selected for presentation after completing the mentorship programme.

To submit your abstract, kindly follow the instructions below:

  2. Select Create a New Account and complete the required information. Once you have created your account and logged in successfully, read the key information on the first page to begin the submission process.
  3. You will be required to submit your membership ID number during the abstract submission process.
