National AIDS/STI Control Programme (NACP)
The National AIDS/STI Control Programme (NACP) is a Ghana Health Service unit under the Disease Control and Prevention Department of the Public Health Division. It began in 1987, evolving from the National Technical Committee on AIDS and the National Advisory Council on HIV and AIDS. Since then, NACP has led the health sector’s response to HIV and AIDS in Ghana. The Programme oversees the implementation of the health sector components of the National HIV and AIDS Strategic Plan (2021–2025), guided by the Health Sector Programme of Work and the HIV Strategic Framework. NACP is mandated to deliver interventions to prevent new HIV infections, provide treatment, care, and support for people living with HIV, generate strategic information for decision-making, and offer technical support to other sectors. Through innovation, collaboration, and community partnerships, NACP continues to drive Ghana’s efforts toward achieving the 95-95-95 targets and ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.

Society for AIDS in Africa(SAA)
The Society for AIDS in Africa (SAA) was established in Kinshasa in October 1990 during the 5th International Conference on AIDS and Associated Cancers in Africa, a precursor to the International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA).
The formation of SAA with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO) brought to an end, the practice of organizing the International Conference on AIDS in Africa, outside the African continent. At the same time, it empowered Africans to address and respond to the challenges posed by HIV/AIDS on the continent.
The SAA envisions an HIV free Africa with capacity to confront HIV/AIDS and its consequences as well as its related diseases (such as Tuberculosis and Malaria).
The Society also promotes positive environment and research on HIV and its related diseases. The SAA is governed by an Executive Council drawn from South, North, East, West and Central Africa.
SAA partners and collaborates with range of NGOs and it enjoys the support of the UN-System, as well as various International organizations, including the International AIDS Society (IAS). The Society for AIDS in Africa, is the organizer of ICASA. The next ICASA will be organized in 2027. The host country will be announced soon.
Paediatric - Adolescent & Treatment Africa
The Paediatric-Adolescent & Treatment Africa (PATA) is an action network of frontline healthcare providers (FHP) working in partnership with communities. The network is dedicated to improving access to HIV, child/adolescent health, and sexual reproductive health services. We want to connect, motivate, and empower like-minded champions for health, rights and service quality for children, adolescents, youth, and caregivers affected by HIV in Africa.
Pro-link
Pro-link is a non-governmental organization founded in 1993 and operates in 10 regions Ghana. The organisation currently has 5 permanent offices and 17 project offices with its headquarters in Accra.
Its mission is to “To empower and advocate with disadvantaged people (especially women and girls) to uphold their human rights and improve on their health, education, socio-economic status.”
Pro-link has significantly contributed to HIV intervention programs in Ghana by forming 8 community and faith-based organizations to support people living with HIV.
Prolink has implemented various projects, including SHARP, SHARPER, LINKAGES, Gender and HIV project, HIV intervention for key population and vulnerable groups, Care continuum project with support from USAID,GAC/ Danida, FHI360, JSI etc.

The portfolio spans TB, respiratory, STIs, and veterinary uses, with deployments in 40+ countries. Pluslife's MiniDock MTB was ERPD-listed in July 2025. To support broader adoption, Pluslife is conducting a multi-center clinical study across more than 10 low- and middle-income countries, covering over 10,000 samples.
